Trauma Recovery

The past keeps you from moving forward.

Life continues to move on as you keep pushing yourself to “move forward.” But you feel stuck in the past and incapable of making things work. Moving forward takes effort that you can’t muster.

In your mind, it’s a surprise that you made it this far, especially while dealing with the trauma you experienced. Despite many victories, you find yourself back in a place of “stuck” because your beliefs, behavior, and pain get in the way of moving forward.

Trauma has a way of making you freeze in moments of opportunity to grow. Your experience is how you measure the world and people, which seems scary.

No matter how hard you try, some experience triggers that past trauma, and BOOM, you are back to square one, wondering what to do next.

Trauma has many causes.

Exposure to war can permanently affect people who see death and destruction.

Neglect and abuse as a child can carry over into adulthood. Near-death experiences from accidents can cause you to be constantly on guard for the next life-threatening event.

Trauma strips people of positive thoughts. It leaves people paralyzed with fear and unable to “feel,” it robs you of your confidence and the ability to choose what you need because it leaves you confused.

Trauma is a giant and has been a giant in your life for a while! And sometimes, you need help conquering the giant.

Let’s defeat the giant together.

Giants are vulnerable to defeat, but you must step up to the giant with boldness. It’s a risk to allow yourself to feel comfortable being BIG in a situation where you have always felt small! I know, I know – there are lots of vulnerabilities.

Yes, you will have to shift your perspective because that is the only way you will give it all you have! While working together, we will begin by identifying the cause of trauma. Then, we will focus on developing tools and behaviors that will help you process how and why you feel the way you do about that trauma in your life.

Part of processing how you feel will help you replace that trauma with something positive that will allow you to move forward.

Let me help you find that power that’s already in you to face this giant! If you don’t grow, you’ll wither away.
